The Roy Castle Fund launched its first successful Run For Roy – a 5k sponsored fun run/walk in Richmond Park, Surrey last September. Now it plans to bring Run for Roy to Southport on Sunday 6th June commencing 10am. Runners of all abilities are invited to come along and Run for Roy, not only to raise vital funds for CRUK, but also to celebrate the life of this wonderful man. Fiona Castle has confirmed that she will be running in the event and sends this message: “We would love you to join in, but if you can’t run or walk, then please sponsor us. Every penny we raise will enable more research to be undertaken into this life-threatening disease”.

This 5k sponsored fun run/walk will start from Southport Pier and go along the beach to Hesketh where runners will run back along the seawall and finish back at the Pier. To join us download an entry form here.
